Covid 19

We are still operating and still providing ecological surveys and assessments!

Following the introduction of restrictions in relation to the ongoing global pandemic we have had to change a few things, but the overall impact on our customers is minimal.

One of the biggest changes is the fact that we are all now working from home most of the time. This means we won’t be able to answer your calls to the office landline (028 2024 9054) but we still have access to the office voicemail so please feel free to leave us a message! Alternatively, you can call our Director (Dellwyn Kane – 077 4334 6517) and if he can’t answer, you are welcome to leave a voicemail. The best way to get in touch is via email (info@kaneecology.co.uk) or by using our online contact form.

We have been included as a priority business sector during lockdown restrictions in the list published by Stormont: https://www.nibusinessinfo.co.uk/sites/default/files/Priority-Sectors-List_1.pdf

Where ecological surveys can take place safely, they can proceed while observing all relevant current advice and restrictions including the avoidance of all face-to-face contact, handwashing, and maintaining at least 2m distance from other people at all times. The requirement to maintain a distance of at least 2m from other people means that where ecological surveys require more than one ecologist to be on-site, they must travel in separate cars. This will result in some small increases to our costs but, as I’m sure most people will agree, this is a sensible approach to keep everyone safe.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our clients for their understanding as we work together to #StaySafe #SaveLives
